Church membership is an expression of commitment to the local body of Christ, demonstrating a willingness to share the work of the ministry and support fellow members through life’s challenges. Church members enter into a covenant relationship with both God and one another. This entails certain responsibilities, while granting specific rights and privileges.
Steps to Membership at Saalem Church
If you are a regular, local attender of Saalem Church and are interested in becoming a member, here are the steps to membership. These steps do not have to be completed in any particular order. For any questions, please contact us at office@saalem.com.
Step1
Fill out the Membership Form
Carefully read and pray about the membership commitment. If you feel led to make this commitment, complete the membership application online or on paper. If your application is approved, you will receive a welcome email.
Step2
Membership class
Once your membership application has been approved, the Membership Class is your next step toward becoming a member of Saalem Church.
Step3
New Member Blessing
New members are blessed into the church at a corporate worship service with a short testimony.
